British Home Secretary Sajid Javid told BBC Radio 4’s that he has signed Julian Assange’s extradition order. The Final decision is now in the hands of the courts said Javid:

“The final decision is now with the courts,”

Where exactly Assange will be extradited to is still unknown, but certainly, it will be either Sweden or the US.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange faces 18 indictments that accuse him of soliciting and publishing Government classified information as well as conspiring with Whistleblower Chelsea Manning to crack a defence department computer password.

Espionage charges were also issued by the Justice Department in Alexandria, Virginia last month.

Assange was evicted on 11th April from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he had been staying since 2012 after Ecuador granted him political asylum. British Police arrested him and was later sentenced to 50 weeks in prison for jumping bail.

Along side the US based charges, Sweden also have rape charges against him. Though it should be noted that both rape charges against Assange are misleading and relate to consensual sex incidents. The charge of Rape is based around alleged deception over the contraception he was using at the time of the intercourse.

The United States will detail all the charges against Julian Assange when it seeks his extradition in a London court on Friday.

Concerns over Assange’s health have been circulating since the news that his Lawyer raised concerns over Assange’s health stating that ‘a normal conversation with him was not possible’.

Interestingly as of yet no one is reporting on this footage in the Mainstream media accept its source – RT News.

Very few media outlets are reporting on this, however, it is beginning to circulate in the Alternative News platforms. Here is what we know so far about the state of Assange’s health.

The Swedish Courts have rejected delaying his court hearing for the rape allegations over his ill health, Reuters reports:

A Swedish court has rejected a request to postpone a planned hearing to rule on the detention in absentia of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged rape, a defense lawyer for Assange said on Tuesday’

Other media outlets fail to even mention Assanges claims of ill health and just mention that a request for delay was asked and denied.

The next piece of information we know comes from a Swedish journal which reports that:

Last Friday, Assange’s Swedish defender, lawyer Per E Samuelson, visited his client in prison. In a letter to Uppsala District Court, the lawyer says that they met for just under two hours. According to the lawyer, Assange’s state of health at the meeting was such that “a normal conversation with him was not possible”. Julian Assange is said to have been taken to the prison’s ward, but there is no more detailed information about his state of health. [source]

Assange’s state of health at the meeting was such that ‘a normal conversation with him was not possible’.

Assange’s Swedish defender, lawyer Per E Samuelson

As for any other media coverage on Assange’s poor health, there is nothing. How this will unfold is unknown, could Assange be delaying the process and stalling for time by faking illness? Or is he genuinely sick?

Is it impossible to believe that maybe he is even being killed off, poisoned, silenced forever?

At this point in time, we know very little and can only hope that indeed he is stalling for time, but in the meantime we should share this news for awareness – this really could be a man in need of help, our help for justice.

The following is an excerpt from the excellent Journalist Caitlin Johnstone who seemed to be one of the first to pick up on this story:

We have been watching the slow-motion assassination of Julian Assange. They have been choking him to death by tactical psyops, siege tactics, and wilful neglect as surely as if they placed a noose tied around his neck, not just in Belmarsh Prison but in the embassy as well. The only difference between his execution and someone on death row is the same as the difference between covert and overt warfare, which makes sense because the intelligence, judicial and military agencies who are carrying out his death sentence operate within the same power structure which carries out war. First came the smears (propaganda), then came the siege (sanctions), and they staged their coup (dragged him out of the embassy) and now they’ve got him in their clutches and they can do what they want behind closed doors. That’s how you kill a nation while still looking like a nice guy, and that’s how they’re killing Assange.

Shout this from the rooftops. Whether this media blackout is self-imposed or perhaps the result of the malicious use of a D-notice, we have to use everything in our power to get this information into the mainstream, and get people asking questions of the press and their local members about what the Dickens is going on in Belmarsh prison right now. Assange’s life may depend on it.

Please leave your thoughts on this latest development in the comment below and share this post far and wide.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has just been sentenced to serve 50 weeks for skipping bail on charges of sexual assault which were later dropped.

Judge Deborah Taylor told Assange it was difficult to envisage a more serious example of the offence.

“By hiding in the embassy you deliberately put yourself out of reach, while remaining in the UK,”

She went onto say that this “undoubtedly” affected the progress of the Swedish proceedings.

“Whilst you may have had fears as to what may happen to you, nonetheless you had a choice, and the course of action you chose was to commit this offence,”

Assange’s Letter of Apology

I apologise unreservedly to those who consider that I have disrespected them by the way I have pursued my case.

This is not what I wanted or intended.

I found myself struggling with terrifying circumstances for which neither I nor those from whom I sought advice could work out any remedy.

I did what I thought at the time was the best and perhaps the only thing that could be done – which I hoped might lead to a legal resolution being reached between Ecuador and Sweden that would protect me from the worst of my fears.

I regret the course that this took; the difficulties were instead compounded and impacted upon very many others.

Whilst the difficulties I now face may have become even greater, nevertheless it is right for me to say this now.

Assange Rape Allegation

The most ridiculous thing about all this is the so-called Rape Allegation is in fact not what it seems at all – and by calling it so is clearly an attempt to dirty the character of Julian Assange.

The actual charges revolve around two women, both who agreed to consensual sex at different times – however, they both claim that though sex was by consensus Assange in one case did not use a condom as a agreed and in the other case a claim is made that he ‘tampered’ with the condom prior to sex.

This is very different to rape, if true it does raise questions about Assange’s behaviour – but to call this rape is an insult to real rape victims.

What Now?

This first sentencing of Assange if just the beginning, what happens now is anyones guess – but with so many enemies around the World you can be sure it’s far from over for Assange.

We have raised concerns over the authenticity of Wikileaks and Julian Assange in respect to their appearance as being a whistleblowers refuge and voice against the authoritarian and criminal states of the World, these are still concerns we have and what happens to Assange will be an important clue to confirming or dismissing these concerns.

That this outrage happened in the heart of London, in the land of Magna Carta, ought to shame and anger all who fear for “democratic” societies. Assange is a political refugee protected by international law, the recipient of asylum under a strict covenant to which Britain is a signatory. The United Nations made this clear in the legal ruling of its Working Party on Arbitrary Detention.

But to hell with that. Let the thugs go in. Directed by the quasi fascists in Trump’s Washington, in league with Ecuador’s Lenin Moreno, a Latin American Judas and liar seeking to disguise his rancid regime, the British elite abandoned its last imperial myth: that of fairness and justice.

Imagine Tony Blair dragged from his multi-million pound Georgian home in Connaught Square, London, in handcuffs, for onward dispatch to the dock in The Hague. By the standard of Nuremberg, Blair’s “paramount crime” is the deaths of a million Iraqis. Assange’s crime is journalism: holding the rapacious to account, exposing their lies and empowering people all over the world with truth.

The shocking arrest of Assange carries a warning for all who, as Oscar Wilde wrote, “sew the seeds of discontent [without which] there would be no advance towards civilisation”. The warning is explicit towards journalists. What happened to the founder and editor of WikiLeaks can happen to you on a newspaper, you in a TV studio, you on radio, you running a podcast.

Assange’s principal media tormentor, the Guardian, a collaborator with the secret state, displayed its nervousness this week with an editorial that scaled new weasel heights. The Guardian has exploited the work of Assange and WikiLeaks in what its previous editor called “the greatest scoop of the last 30 years”. The paper creamed off WikiLeaks’ revelations and claimed the accolades and riches that came with them.

With not a penny going to Julian Assange or to WikiLeaks, a hyped Guardian book led to a lucrative Hollywood movie. The book’s authors, Luke Harding and David Leigh, turned on their source, abused him and disclosed the secret password Assange had given the paper in confidence, which was designed to protect a digital file containing leaked US embassy cables.

With Assange now trapped in the Ecuadorean embassy, Harding joined the police outside and gloated on his blog that “Scotland Yard may get the last laugh”. The Guardian has since published a series of falsehoods about Assange, not least a discredited claim that a group of Russians and Trump’s man, Paul Manafort, had visited Assange in the embassy. The meetings never happened; it was fake.

But the tone has now changed. “The Assange case is a morally tangled web,” the paper opined. “He (Assange) believes in publishing things that should not be published …. But he has always shone a light on things that should never have been hidden.”

These “things” are the truth about the homicidal way America conducts its colonial wars, the lies of the British Foreign Office in its denial of rights to vulnerable people, such as the Chagos Islanders, the expose of Hillary Clinton as a backer and beneficiary of jihadism in the Middle East, the detailed description of American ambassadors of how the governments in Syria and Venezuela might be overthrown, and much more. It all available on the WikiLeaks site.

Loading...

The Guardian is understandably nervous. Secret policemen have already visited the newspaper and demanded and got the ritual destruction of a hard drive.  On this, the paper has form. In 1983, a Foreign Office clerk, Sarah Tisdall, leaked British Government documents showing when American cruise nuclear weapons would arrive in Europe. The Guardian was showered with praise.

When a court order demanded to know the source, instead of the editor going to prison on a fundamental principle of protecting a source, Tisdall was betrayed, prosecuted and served six months.

If Assange is extradited to America for publishing what the Guardian calls truthful “things”, what is to stop the current editor, Katherine Viner, following him, or the previous editor, Alan Rusbridger, or the prolific propagandist Luke Harding?

What is to stop the editors of the New York Times and the Washington Post, who also published morsels of the truth that originated with WikiLeaks, and the editor of El Pais in Spain, and Der Spiegel in Germany and the Sydney Morning Herald in Australia. The list is long.

David McCraw, lead lawyer of the New York Times, wrote:

“I think the prosecution [of Assange] would be a very, very bad precedent for publishers … from everything I know, he’s sort of in a classic publisher’s position and the law would have a very hard time distinguishing between the New York Times and WilLeaks.”

Even if journalists who published WikiLeaks’ leaks are not summoned by an American grand jury, the intimidation of Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning will be enough. Real journalism is being criminalised by thugs in plain sight. Dissent has become an indulgence.

In Australia, the current America-besotted government is prosecuting two whistle-blowers who revealed that Canberra’s spooks bugged the cabinet meetings of the new government of East Timor for the express purpose of cheating the tiny, impoverished nation out of its proper share of the oil and gas resources in the Timor Sea. Their trial will be held in secret. The Australian prime minister, Scott Morrison, is infamous for his part in setting up concentration camps for refugees on the Pacific islands of Nauru and Manus, where children self harm and suicide. In 2014, Morrison proposed mass detention camps for 30,000 people.

Real journalism is the enemy of these disgraces. A decade ago, the Ministry of Defence in London produced a secret document which described the “principal threats” to public order as threefold: terrorists, Russian spies and investigative journalists. The latter was designated the major threat.

The document was duly leaked to WikiLeaks, which published it.

“We had no choice,” Assange told me. “It’s very simple. People have a right to know and a right to question and challenge power. That’s true democracy.”

What if Assange and Manning and others in their wake — if there are others — are silenced and “the right to know and question and challenge” is taken away?

In the 1970s, I met Leni Reifenstahl, close friend of Adolf Hitler, whose films helped cast the Nazi spell over Germany.

She told me that the message in her films, the propaganda, was dependent not on “orders from above” but on what she called the “submissive void” of the public.

“Did this submissive void include the liberal, educated bourgeoisie?” I asked her.

“Of course,” she said, “especially the intelligentsia …. When people no longer ask serious questions, they are submissive and malleable. Anything can happen.”

And did.

The rest, she might have added, is history.

Assange has been at the embassy since 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden over a sexual assault case which was later dropped.

At the Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday he was found guilty of failing to surrender to the court. Now he faces extradition to the US on Federal Conspiracy charges. It will be down to the UK Government whether he is extradited or not to the US.

We will bring you more on this story as it comes in, but at the moment very little is known about what the future holds for Julian Assange.

If you are still in the unfortunate position in life where you have not yet read ‘Confessions of an Economic Hitman‘, then here it is unabridged for you to listen too.

We’ll use a small excerpt from The Guardian to accompany the Audiobook as it nicely sets the stage for what the book is about.

John Perkins was recruited as a young man by the National Security Agency – somewhat to his surprise, considering that in his interview he had been grilled on his youthful insubordination, friendships with suspicious foreigners, and sexual frustrations.

It turns out that it doesn’t hurt to be a bit damaged in the NSA’s eyes – it makes you more biddable. He was then employed by Chas T Main, a company whose competitors included Bechtel and Halliburton, of which you may have heard. As to what Main’s business was, Perkins says that “during my first months there even I could not figure out what we did”.

He found out eventually. Ostensibly an economist, his job was to go off to developing countries, offer them enormous loans with which to improve their infrastructures and provide wildly inflated projections of the economic growth these improvements would bring.

Presented to the right people, these bogus figures did the trick, a deliberately underhand assault on a nation’s de facto sovereignty. Contractors – US contractors, naturally – would move in and build the pipelines or the drilling platforms or the power stations, the economy would fail to grow anything like as fast as predicted, the country would default on its loan, and so find itself in hook to the US in perpetuity – or until it underwent revolutionary regime change. The textbook case of this is Iran, where Perkins found himself a very short time before the fall of the shah

Things didn’t work out quite as planned there. (Although the seeds of that debacle had been sown, as Perkins reminds us, in 1951, when Kermit Roosevelt, Theodore’s grandson, helped to cause the overthrow of Mohammed Mossadegh by, among other things, stirring up Muslim leaders to instigate revolt.

You will also find references, in other chapters, to the money the US gave Osama bin Laden. But there were plenty of places where the strategy had worked: a few families in the target countries would become immeasurably wealthier, the poor would become poorer, the money lent would often, after the enriching process, do little more than move around various banks within the US, and if anyone at the top grumbled or refused to play ball, they could be assassinated.

Few assert, and fewer believe, that the death of Panama’s Omar Torrijos in 1981 was accidental. Anyway, it’s all here, in toe-curling detail, and after reading it you will find the fictional exploits of the kind of people we imagine to work as undercover agents turn your stomach with their mendacious disconnection from reality.

One question that bothers me is how come Perkins himself has not been assassinated or silenced.

You can read the review in full from The Guardian here.

This excellent piece from renowned investigative journalist Kurt Nimmo looks at what whistleblower Chelsea Manning revealed about US Government and their disgusting acts against humanity.

Chelsea Manning was commuted by the now former President Obama, however, since then she has returned to prison for refusing to testify in court in an ongoing Wikileaks investigation, meanwhile, it would seem we have all forgotten exactly what Manning brought into the public arena for scrutiny.

As mentioned in the video here are just some of the revelations Chelsea Manning made public:

  • There is an official policy to ignore torture in Iraq.
  • Guantanamo prison has held mostly innocent people and low-level operatives.
  • There is an official tally of civilian deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • U.S. Military officials withheld information about the indiscriminate killing of Reuters journalists and innocent Iraqi civilians.
  • The State Department backed corporate opposition to a Haitian minimum wage law.
  • The U.S. Government had long been faking its public support for Tunisian President Ben Ali.
  • Known Egyptian torturers received training from the FBI in Quantico, Virginia.
  • The State Department authorised the theft of the UN Secretary General’s DNA.
  • The Japanese and U.S. Governments had been warned about the seismic threat at Fukushima.
  • The Obama Administration allowed Yemen’s President to cover up a secret U.S. drone bombing campaign.
  • Details on Vatican hiding big sex abuse cases in Ireland.
  • US pressured the European Union to accept GM—genetic modification.
  • The UK sidestepped a ban on housing cluster bombs. Officials concealed from Parliament how the US is allowed to bring weapons on to British soil in defiance of treaty.
  •  The US used threats, spying, and more to try to get its way at the 2012 crucial climate conference in Copenhagen.
  • Oil giant Shell claims to have “inserted staff” and fully infiltrated Nigeria’s government.

This is just a few of the things we now know thanks to Chelsea Manning.

Obama’s decision to release her early had little support from anyone else in Congress, in fact, many condemned Obama for his decision.

In the last few hours the newly elected President Donald Trump has tweeted in response to a statement Chelsea Manning made about Obama since the knowledge of his early release:

This outburst from trump was triggered by Mannings first article since his commutation which was published in The Guardian earlier today:

On the night of 4 November 2008, Barack Obama was elected on a platform of “hope” and “change”. He was hailed as a “uniter” in an age of “dividers”. I experienced a political awakening that night. I watched as the hope that President Obama represented was tempered by the shocking passage of Proposition 8 by a majority of voters in California. This reversed a major marriage equality court victory from earlier that year.

Throughout his two terms in office, these types of contradictions would persist. Optimism and hope would be met with backlash and hate. He faced unparalleled resistance from his opponents, many of whom wanted him to fail.

The one simple lesson to draw from President Obama’s legacy: do not start off with a compromise. They won’t meet you in the middle. Instead, what we need is an unapologetic progressive leader.

We need someone who is unafraid to be criticized, since you will inevitably be criticized. We need someone willing to face all of the vitriol, hatred and dogged determination of those opposed to us. Our opponents will not support us nor will they stop thwarting the march toward a just system that gives people a fighting chance to live. Our lives are at risk – especially for immigrants, Muslim people and black people.

Manning has been heavily criticized for her article, but why should Manning be grateful?

This is a person who put her life on the line to reveal the truth about the disgusting crimes against humanity that the US Government have been hiding. We must remember our Governments work for us, we pay their wages, we elect them, we effectively own them.

So, do we not have the right to know what they are doing?

Apparently not.

Wikileaks whistle-blower who was sentenced to 35 years in prison on 20 separate charges relating to the leaks back in 2010, but then released early in 2017 when Obama pardoned her, is once again back in prison. This time for failing to testify to the nototiously secretive grand jury in an investigation into Wikileaks.

Chelsea has released a statement:

President Donald Trump has called Manning an “ungrateful traitor” who “should never have been released from prison”. But let’s ask ourselves what exactly did Chelsea Manning do to get a 35 years sentence.

She leaked 750,000 classified, or unclassified but sensitive, military and diplomatic documents to Wikileaks, which were then released to the public between 2010 and 2017.

Probably the most damaging leak, though not in anyway causing a threat to national security, but more, a shocking insight into the US at war:

A secret report obtained by buzzfeed which was made in 2011 by the US Government even contradicts the claims that the leaks were a threat to national security:

Regarding the 750,000 Iraq-related military documents and State Department cables provided by Chelsea Manning, the report concluded “with high confidence that disclosure of the Iraq data set will have no direct personal impact on current and former U.S. leadership in Iraq.”

So what did she do exactly?
